Don't require Skype for Remote Backup
Not everyone uses Skype - it would be great to allow remote backup without needing to install Skype.

Allow Remote Backup without Local Backup.
I have a travelling laptop and would rather not carry an external hard drive around with me for the local backup. Would be nice to allow remote backup without having to do have a connected local backup always available.

Bandwidth limits for remote backups
I don't have unlimited bandwidth available for remote backups. It's easy to max out the upload bandwidth of an ADSL connection. So add some settings to limit the speed that files are sent and received.

Enable continous backup so changed files get backed up in seconds when computer is idle
Ideally a service would run at the lowest priority in the background and do a constant backup of any changed files when the machine is idle.
This would also give a history for each file too.
Ideally open Word/Office documents would get backed up even if they were locked.

Give the option to disable encryption
I'm using Cucku to auto-backup onto my NAS, but I wish I could choose not to encrypt the files, so I can just browse through the folders on the NAS and access the files I want without having to have Cucku installed. I know this is less secure, but that's not an issue for me.

Report Backup Failures
I would like to get an email if there are any failures for a backup job, like it wasn't able to complete for some reason like the partner wasn't online or something like that. Multiple Local Backups
If you are using Cucku as a local backup only client you may want to keep multiple local copies. For example, if you have a portable hard drive and want to secure it in a fire box, it will not always be connected.

Support backing up files over 4 GB
Please support backup for the huge files. This would really be helpful for someone uploading HD movies from a camcorder to disk. At least for the local backup the limitation makes no sense.

Show status of backups for my PCs on the web
I would like to be able to check the status of the backups of all the PCs under my cucku user account.

utilise scheduled tasks so that the cucku service does not need to run
Another optimisation to get that extra 10% back on the CPU utilisation whilst idle would be to use Windows Scheduled tasks to start and stop the service
That also has the benefit of defining when other peoples backups can trickle onto your system and use some of your bandwidth

Allow backup status to be tracked in a Google Gadget.

Allow UNC path for baclup location.
This would allow local/partner remote backups to run when the user that mapped the NAS drive isn't logged in.

Allow remote backup even if there isn't enough local space
This is similar to "Allow remote backup without local backup"... in fact, I'd like that first, but in the event that that is harder to code (and can only use 3 votes on an item), I've created this option.
