   allow specific files/subfolders to be excluded

   Sometimes, you want to backup everything in a folder, *except for* one, or a small number, of files or folders. E.g., I want to backup everything in "My Documents", *except for* "My Downloads" and "Movies".

   It's possible to do this - on the Edit Backup window double-click the folder in question. You can then uncheck files and folders that you don't want to include in the backup.

   Provide a button to clear all backup items in "edit backup".

   I want more control over what is backed up so clearing the default is unnecessary work for me.

   Philip, if you right click the list you can uncheck all the items in the list. You can also select all the items using CTRL-A and then hit delete to remove them completely. The right click menu also has an option to restore the default items if you decide that you need them back again.
